Data Deletion Instructions

At Upside, we take your privacy and data security seriously. In compliance with Meta Platform Policies, we provide a straightforward way for users to request the deletion of their data associated with our application.

How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like to delete your user data from the Upside platform, please follow these steps:

1. Email Request: Send an email to admin@joinupside.io from the email address associated with your account.
2. Subject Line:Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
3. Information to Include: In the body of the email, please provide your full name and the name of the Business Manager or Instagram account you connected to our service.
4. Processing Time: Once we receive your request, our team will verify your identity and permanently delete all your personal information, account settings, and stored Meta access tokens from our database within 30 days.

Alternative Method (via Facebook)

You can also remove the Upside app's access to your data through your Facebook settings:

1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
2. Click on Apps and Websites in the left menu.
3. Find Upside and click Remove.
4. Once removed, we will no longer have access to your data, and you may contact us at admin@joinupside.io to ensure all previously cached data is purged.
